EDIT: Here's how I made it.
The original sound source is a pair of nail clippers and an Allen wrench, actually. I recorded them getting hit together and such, then I did some speed/granulation effects and ran it through a special vocoder patch.

Hey man, very glad you put this up here for us to use! I'm using this in my Robot Day project currently, although only as a background effect. It's a good general-purpose thing, adding just the right amount of sound in specific areas. Just as a side note, I doubled up the vocoding and the granulizing with it...strange, how great minds think alike, eh? ;)
