really liked it
craaaaazy stuff, broski.
as it turns oot, according to the String Theory,
the 4th dimension is time.
i think that's kinda neat.
This song is about the passage of time and how it moves forward not back. it had some serious reflections brought back to me.
-------------------------
i imagine falling upwards through the sky and traveling so fast that all i see is a blur, letting the moment take me and closing my eyes as my hair streams in the wind, taking me away.

found an old recording of guitar my friend Jesse Kennedy had recorded some time ago, and the playing was so beautiful to me i decided to integrate it into a song with effects and more music to go with it.

WOW *impressed*
You really went a different direction with this, didn't you. and gotta love the searching and self-seeking that these works come out of - and if this song is a reflection of that - then I am VERY happy for your behalf ^__^
That guitar is quite enchanting and I wish I could applaud you for it's composition, but I guess applauding you for even using it will have to do b/c it really adds to the song as a whole. Liked your use of a wind-synth. I would have liked to have seen the synth you used for your melody switched out halfway through the song with a more traditional instrument (a piano with a nice airy reverb and delay or some kind of wind. Like an ocarina)
But as is - excellent. very enjoyable and relaxing. nothing to complain of the composition nor sound quality (as always). keep 'em coming Darren : )
i wish i had an ocarina instrument!
Hmm...
This is a really unique sounding song. I think it captures the mood you were thinking of well - I'm browsing songs, doing some homework while listening and I hadn't even read the description you wrote and I found myself thinking about the places I would be later on. Not flying through the sky like what you saw, but different moments in time, with me being somewhere different in each, maybe talking with certain people or just by myself...thinking about the future, or what I want to do.
I'll admit I thought the sound was a little too funky at first but it's actually really calming to listen to as background music. Definitely one I'm going to download.
hey wow! it makes me feel good to know that my music made someone travel with thoughts and images.
i feel like this piece had alot of reflection put into it both by me and the guy who played guitar.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
