Wrote this riff a long while ago, our ex-guitarist stole it from me and used it in his new band called Beyond the Mast(now split up and most in jail, long funny story). Hence the title, Tear Down the Mast. So, as a good ol' fashioned kick to the balls, MY band recorded it and decided to put it up here. And for those of you wondering about the drums, he's patched into a drum module running thru SD2.0. Synths and guitars done by yours truly, drums by the drummer (duh).

yeah, the drums are right on time, its my guitar playing. Using ASIO interfaces that are run thru a modeler first, then to the recording suite has a tiny bit of latency. I would have fixed it, but i lost the files a while ago. BUT i have more stuff to put up now

Hey I liked the melody; I think it might go for a little too long though. Also there are some timing & mixing issues but I don't think it matters. Would love to hear it live!

Yeah, the melody goes on and on. It's in progress. Also, the mixing issues are because I'm not used to how Cubase 5.1 works yet. Just got it.
And yeah, I can't wait to play it live with vocals.
