this is an early prototype to a hip hop beat sampling goldenrod city from pokemon gold and silver. If this were to have rapping over it it would be structured somthing like this:
1st minute or so- 1st verse
A little over the minute mark would be the corus in witch there would be singing along with the melody.
After that would be the second verse. and thats all i know so far.

I think the beat needs to be closer together. The beats shouldn't land on the bassline, it makes it really slow and boring. Also try to make the beat a little more unique, play around with different kick and snare placements and you'll come up with something more original.
