Pretty cool, good mastering, Just a few things:
Don't get any wrong ideas from the apparent negativity of this review, I really liked the track overall and gave you a 9, but I'm gonna skip over the good aspects of the song and only include potential areas of improvement in this review cus I don't have much time.
The first thing that stood out was the rise effect in the beginning, you incorporated it well but to be frank its pretty bad quality. Instead of using samples, try making your own (just takes a nice sounding synth and a pitch slide tool), or if you do use samples, find one that's higher quality. Whatever, it's not a big deal, I'm just sayin' cus it was kind of noticeable to me.
The second thing is that the intro was pretty lame. I don't know what else to say, put the vocals there instead or add some ride or high pitched synth with a basic melody? Maybe some sub? Idk. Just a kick and effect rise intro is pretty boring IMO.
The last thing is that the bass melody gets boring, the switch up at :57 is really nicely executed, but if you're tryna make this into a full song you're gonna need a little more melodic diversity. Yes, I realize this is drum and bass, I listen to a lot of it, you're allowed to be repetitive but some more switch ups or add ins would be nice to keep it interesting.
Once again sorry if I'm being a cynical dick, the song sounds real nice, you got those drums near perfect. I'll keep an eye out for new tracks from you!
I did make the synth at the start :P
Its a WIP, it wont be finished, and its jsut here for the sake of it.
sounds like it's gonna be a bangin ass tune. i like the transition from the gritty reese into that monster of a sub bass. also that guy that gave you a 6 also gave one of dj-nate's songs from several years ago a 10. someone people shouldn't be critics :\
Cheers for the review man, some people review on their taste, not the track, so yeah... twat.
australia is superior.
Fuck you, you Bum Sniffers and Ass Bandits.
Wow,first song at the very top that sounds decent!
I like that catchy little wobbly thing you threw in there. Your drums are really mastered well, too. I guess my only complaint is that it coulda been just a little bit longer, maybe coulda had some melodic extension (those goddamn aussies know how to do it with EVERYTHING, from dnb to rock, i just don't understand!), but hey, regardless, it was cool. Keep it up man!
btw, you master the whole track, not seperate instruments.
thanks anyway ololo
cool song man awesome work! 10/10
