Second submission. Woo! Anyways, I've been playing really old videogames lately. And I mean REALLY old, as in NES old. One thing that hit me was exactly how much more those games focused on gameplay and, of course, really catchy music. Ever notice how you can always remember music from those old 2D games, but not nearly as often from the newer 3D ones? Okay, that may not be entirely true, but that's what I was aiming for here. I tried to capture the essence of those old flying shooter games, and things like Megaman, hence the song title. I wanted something where the entire thing was sort of catchy. I think I pretty much hit my mark. Tell me what you think. All comments are welcome.
