Funny, but...
The voices were good EXCEPT the pirate voice. You gotta make it a litle deeper and more rough. The joke was great though, so that gives ya points.
My submission for the Talk Like A Pirate Day voice acting contest!
Time limits suck. Had to cut out some filler and really amp up the pacing to make the one-minute cut. For anyone questioning the length, my computer automatically adds about four to five seconds of silence to everything, so it *should* still qualify since the skit itself is barely under a minute. I may submit the full version soon, the whole 90 seconds of it -_-'
Transcript for animators.
BOY 1: Hey Mark?
BOY 2: What?
BOY 1: Why couldn't the kid pirate go into the movie theatre? 'Cause the movie was rated "Arr!"
BOY 2: Hey Billy, who helps pirates build their ships? Carrrr-penters!
BOY 1: That's a good one!
PIRATE: Arr, you scurvy kids and yer damn jokes. I've got a joke for you.
BOY 2: Wait, who're you?
PIRATE: A man be driving along Dead Man's Bluff; he spies a wee child. He goes up to him, an' he says, "Son, what be the problem?" The little boy says "I was driving with me mum, and our car lost control."
BOY 1 and 2: *whimper*
PIRATE: "She try to stop before we fall off the cliff. We hang, teetering. And she say 'Get out the back seat!' So I get out, they fall into the cliff!" The man looks at the wee boy, and proceeds to unbuckle his pants, pull them down, and say "Son, today be not your day."
BOY 1 and 2: Ahhh! *run away*
PIRATE: *laugh* Ay, that be a good one.

That was a pirate voice?
The voice acting was good. Don't get me wrong, but the "pirate" voice you used sounded more like a regular guy from the Victorian Era. The joke was meeh. But it's a solid submission! Good luck in the contest! And maybe do another one where a pirate offers to tell them a joke and fires the kids out of a cannon or something XD
Yeah, the pirate voice is definitely something I pulled out of my ass halfway through recording. Low and/or gruff voices are definitely not my forte, and I'll keep working on 'em. Of course, remembering to equalize some the audio might have helped (I'm pretty sure equalizing was kosher, though most other effects weren't); I'm not experienced much in mixing, so *shrug*.
And good luck with yours, too!
