Alright, so I'm not gonna lie, this wasn't the original tempo. The original song was a 155 BPM Goa trance-ish mix. I liked it a lot, since it seemed to pump out the energy a lot more. One of my friends told me to slow it down, but then it sounded... empty. Really empty. So I started adding cool sounding stuff and played with the synths some more and I actually really ended up liking the end result.

So, you do have to have some patience with this song. To really get the gist of the whole thing you've gotta listen to the whole thing front to back, and if you think that main synth is annoying I apologize, but it really grew on me. And believe it or not, this song's main inspiration was a Tiesto mix that I heard on Sirius radio. Lolzz.

Enjoy the track, and keep it easy Newgrounds;

I couldn't put my finger on it...

Until i read your comments. It's been forever since i've heard Tiesto. What mix was it exactly that caused the spark? I'm curious.

I'll be honest with ya, ZENON. At first, i didn't like this song. You were right about the main synth grinding on your hearing a bit and that transitition that starts around 3:50 till about 4:40 kinda killed the overall mood of the song for a little. It picked right back up though, so whatever.

I could see myself listening to this while driving down a highway 101 at dusk or night. I think it'd fit perfectly. Also, when i listen to this, i'm reminded of a song by DJ Tomcraft called "Like the Sun".

Cheers!

I downloaded this song the day after you put it up here, and I must have listened to it a good 25 times since. I don't have much to say about it, except that it's one of my new favs of yours! The baseline is surprisingly catchy, for only having three notes or so. I really like the main synth, too, it's unique in all the right ways :) The percussion isn't a main focus, but it fits nicely.

Good job sir Jadan!

PERVOK responds:

I personally love it when the song breaks into the first bridge at 1:09. Fuckin' makes me bob my head every time.

Thanks for the review man!
