[KA] Castles in the Sky REMIX

Author Comments

My remix of Castles in the Sky. This remix is pretty old, although I touched it up a bit to sound better (although there still are things bad about it of course).

To me, the beginning is a bit the same as the original song (it isn't but sounds close), although 1:46 is where it gets a little different in my opinion.
But whatever.

Also, I did not use any midi's or someone else's pre-made scores, made this completely from scratch.

Please rate and review, and as always, enjoy.

amazing

this is a really good remix of a really good song. you don't see that often...weird.

AWESOME!!! From scratch?!

You sir are a supergenius! From scratch?! I have tried tor weeks to months to do same with System F's Out of the Blue yet I keep getting the stuff wrong... How'd you do it from scratch? I use Rosegarden, which is similar to FL Studio in some respects. I'd like to know how to remix fr/ scratch so I can finish my rmx of OOTB and not have it sound like crap. Please write a tute, bro!

KorpzeAudio responds:

I'm not too sure how... I do it almost like a habit, it just happens.
What I do, I suppose, is have the song up while making the remix and try and copy the exact song like it is. Then I change things around to make it sound different (like add stuff, get rid of stuff, etc).
But yeah... I just copy the notes of what I hear, some times I have to hum the note and play the note on FL to make it sound exact.
Other than that, Idk how to help you sorry.

But thanks so much for the review, glad you liked it.
