This song is in open G tuning, played with a dreadnought Tanglewood, G Marine Band Hohner and D5 AKG microphone through Audacity.

It's only a demo version (or sub-demo version; I'm planning on cutting a better sound quality demo in the near future), and you will over hear a few things like me kicking the microphone stand in the beginning and having a bit of poor placement of the microphone (which is being run through a Hughes And Kettner Edition Blue guitar amp, hardly desirable for a good performance!). This, coupled with it being completely raw (I haven't touched up or mucked with mastering and mixing it properly, because I don't know how) and unproduced.

Lyrically, it's about a girl I was interested in who told me that she wasn't ready for a relationship, and promptly started dating another person within two days.

Now shamefully it loosens its pants,
Summation of desire in a screaming red dance,
Where wishing fails, hard labour must replace,
With a vertical salute to the slut's fine face,
Though tonight, it cannot complete the act,
Burning self loathing forces it to retract,
Cries long hard and loud, with its head in its hands,
At all the failed attempts and decapitated plans,
Two eyes bleed grief, while a weary mouth moans,
For all the unloved, unseen and unknown,
Icy dying glory; "I'm so alone"
So very alone.
