Here's another new song that won't make the album.

I wrote this song back around the time of Cretaceous Beast and Betrayal but chose to never finish it.
I only recorded it as a bit of fun. It's another long one, but in my opinion, is entertaining throughout.

I (stupidly) played around with the DFH mixer. Now the cymbals are too loud and you can barely hear the snare. This also makes it sound really messy, as you will notice once it all kicks in at ~1:40.

I usually play in Drop B, the guitars in this are tuned to C#,G#,E,B,F#,G#. This also adds to the messy sound.

Oh and it's another long instrumental about the First World War.
Samples from Rupert Brooke's 'The Soldier' and the film 'Johnny Got His Gun' (yeah I know Metallica got there first, but it is very good for sampling).

Some fun prog experiments in this - a few polyrhythms and a section in which the dual guitars play a riff a semi-tone out from eachother.

As usual, if you feel like vocalling it up - go crazy. I'd love to hear it.
