You wanted me to leave critique
Well, like i said in my response to your review, i'm not an expert. Actually i'm far from an expert. But i'll leave you a review anyway, since this is such an amazing piece of music :-)
The intro is really nice with the choir. And that harp (?) that is playing is really good too, but if i were you i wouldn't let the harp play every sixteenth note. That's because it sounds a little too random, but this can also be personal taste.
The piano that comes in is good, but it could've be a little more powerful. Try lowering it an octave. I know that if you only lower that line that comes in first it doesn't fit with the rest of the piano playing, so try to lower everything that is played on the piano one octave to make it more powerful and a bit heavier. I'm not sure this will work, but you can always try, right?
I don't really like the kick you used. I think it's too sharp and should be much deeper sounding, if you know what i mean. And the snare is a bit too fat. Try to make it sound a little more clear and sharp.
The next thing i'm going to say is my personal opinion. I don't like the tubular bells. Actually, i almost never like tubular bells, because they always sound off tune to me. Maybe it's because they pitch bend down or something.
Those cymbals you used are ok, but i think they are too loud. Lower their volume a bit.
Well, that was all my criticism. Despite all those things i said, i enjoyed this song. The composition is really good and brings a feeling of victory to me. Like i just won a battle or something :P
The staccato choir (i don't know if you can use the term staccato when you're talking about a choir, but i do it anyway :P) is really good. It's in the background so you really have to listen to the song to hear it's there, but when you remove the song loses a large amount of power.
Well, that's all for now. Very good job on this song, although it could've been a tad better.
