i love steve reich! Would be better played live! And also with an accelerando type of phasing.
i liked it!

I recently got into Steve Reich, and made this. It's something of an experiment - in the second section, the rhythm shifts by one eighth note every four measures, but no one seems to notice.
The midi instruments are celesta, kalimba, and a bell. This was made with Rosegarden; the sound fonts are GeneralUser GS.

At times
This is a good song that can help you sleep at night
Triple Quartet: Second Movement
(IDK title was the first thing that came to mind when i listened to this :D)
Its pretty awesome getting into phasing (awesome technique.) I like how you introduce a melody before getting into the main part of the song (cannot find the purpose but it was good enough to get me interested.) It has that experimental feeling to it (at least the rhythm change is noticeable which is what makes it nice.) After taking a second listen you notice a different rhythmic pattern (well at least i did.) Nice job on the technique. Must be me but i hear a lot of bells very low on sound as the song processes (pretty cool if there are.)
lol 666 listens
The song sucked though. And heres why
boring repetitive no substance terrible progression
A bit boring
It was just the same thing over and over again, like some other people have previously stated. After about 50 seconds, I completely lost interest. Try adding more and maybe not making it repeat so much, but overall it's better than I can do XD
