sorta in the middle
eh it wasnt that bad
So this is an old song by my old band Anathematize (myspace.com/anathematize ). All we ever recorded were the guitars, performed by my good friend Ade Porwal (who also performs the main solo). So I stuck in drums, vox and an orchestra as well as all the cool shit at the start. I didn't ever get round to adding bass, so it sounds a little empty in places. The kit is pretty sexy (it's an FL Studio 8 custom metal kit by me :D) but it's a bit trebbly at the start.
The samples are from Saving Private Ryan, even though the lyrics are based around the First World War..
This is the start of a little project I'm working on in which I fix up old Anathematize songs named Project Cerulea.
Info:
Title: Cerulean Sky
Artist: Project Cerulea
Album: Project Cerulea: Anathematize Revisited
Lyrics:
Confusion and assassination leads to the break-out of war
Hostility turns swiftly to confrontation
Armed countries divide
A chasm opens and the end begins
For your king and country you shall fall
This is blasphemy, God help us all
God save us all
As we march to our graveyard
This world will never be the same
[Lead: Ade Porwal, Jak Noble]
Brutal warfare takes the lives of every man
A painless death is fiction, limbs lie strewn across the battlefield
At 16 years of age he bleeds
His body torn and shredded with nothing below the knees
For your king and country you shall fall
This is blasphemy, God help us all
God save us all
As we march to our graveyard
This world will never be the same
Fuck you
Fuck you
Under a cerulean sky we bleed
Under a cerulean sky we bleed
[Lead: Ade Porwal]
For your king and country you shall fall
This is blasphemy, God help us all
God save us all
As we march to our graveyard
This world will never be the same
Under a cerulean sky we bleed
sorta in the middle

That was pretty awesome
I like it. The intro transitioned into the main song pretty well.
Thanks man :)
Yeahh I do like sexy transitions :D
hmmm
Pretty cool, even though I really don't like that kind of music.
It is nicely done.
hmm.. 7/10 - 4/5

Thanks for the rating and review man.
And a big thankyou for appreciating it even if you don't like the style. A lot of people tend to zero if they don't like, regardless of the quality.
Appreciate it!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
