I prefer metalcore/ hardcore to classic metal and I think this piece is defined as the former compared to the songs ive found on newgrounds.
There are some issues with melding of different parts, but it's pretty good for 2 days!

First of all this is not Heavy metal.
Still there is no other genre that fits it more.
There is a piano shit intro for the first 30 secs just fast forward or listen it through.
This is something me and some friends made for a school project like 2 years ago.
We had only 2 days for this song. We wrote it and recorded the instruments on day 1.
Layed vocals mixed and mastered it on the second day.
Our gear was limited since it all was school shit.
Recorded it all in school. Dubbed some shit at my place second day like drums etc.
So it's all regular school shit.
I miced the amps and recorded it to the computer etc.

really digging the overall melody of this track. The screaming and growling sounds pretty damn good, and the riffs were pretty sick. The lyrics just seemed too "soft" for my taste, if you know what i mean. still though, this kicks ass.

Nicely done man
The mixing on this is great. Everything seems to be mixed in a good balance, clean, clear crunches of the guitar, the rhythmical bass, drum beat and the vocals were all great. Downloaded and put on the PSP. 10/10 5/5
