Wavy

Sequel baby!

This is what I wanna see more coming out of my fsvorite artists on Newgrounds.. Where they can create something similar to there last track, add some stuff, fix up some stuff and call it Number 2.

Now, I love that you brought back those chimes at the beginning, and you brought back the melody a couple times and you had it more synthetic. The drums are louder, which is good, the piano is new?? wow, I thought you were just going to kinda tweak with the melody from the first song, but when the piano came in, it sounded like a whole new song. But there were just 2 problems.

1) The piano was kinda fast. I think it should of been a lil bit slower, cuz it really sounded like it messed up on one part, but that may because the backround music that is surrounding it may of disoriented the sound.

2) You should of brought back some of the same stuff from the original. The original had great melodies, and I didn't spy one of those melodies in here. I think you should of tweaked a melody from the first song and made it in the backround, to actually show that it is the SEQUEL to one of your best songs.

I really like this song, the synthetic part at the beginning really feels good. I love to litsen to movie scores, because they have so much meaning to them. Take The Last Samurai soundtrack for instance... it is pure ochestrated and it sounds great!

AdmiralConquistador responds:

For the sequel I didn't intend to bring back any more of the melodies other than the one I brought back in the beginning which has only a tiny taste of the original. I wanted this one to surpass the old one in every way, including technically, and I believe I succeeded. I like this one far better than the original. Besides, this wasn't a remix, it was a sequel, it had to be different! And I did show that it was a sequel, look at the title, and the beginning! Anyway, thanks for the listen, the review, the comments, all of that. I love you paragraph boy, keep on reviewing my songs please, and I promise, cross my heart and hope to die that I will keep making them.

Amazing

Bryan is a GOD

AdmiralConquistador responds:

No Diego, I'm a goddess. Get it right.

Cool!

I like everthing about this track. All the sounds used are quirky but cool and the arrangement is excellent. My only small problem is with the drums. They don't sounds as sharp/phat as they could/should be. A bit of compression put onto the high end might make them jump out more I reckon, that would definately elevate this song to a 10 in my ears! Great stuff.

AdmiralConquistador responds:

You know what, I went back to the song and added very light distortion and compression on the high end and lo and behold, it sounds badass. Thanks for the advice, I'll be sure to try it out on my future songs as well to see how it sounds. Thanks for enjoying the song, after the disapointment to you with Sweeter than Candy, I felt I had to regain my honor with you! Hahah, no but really I'm glad you liked it, and thanks alot for the review. I'll be trying to work on that Live DNB for ya, hehe.
