The title does not actually relate to the idiom, but rather going along with the theme of my album. When my girlfriend Raven has sleep paralysis. She shakes, and has the feeling of being awake, but not being able to move.

The progression of the song is how she is feeling while not being able to move, and when she finally breaks her paralysis. She opens her eyes, and looks at all the paintings and writing she has wrote all over my dorm wall.

I can picture it

The song speeds up faster and faster as she struggles to opens her eyes, I can almost see you sitting next to her, head bowed, hoping for her to break through. Her heart rate speeds up, she begins to sweat, shes fighting it, the tempo increases. Its almost at the breaking point, the music as at its fastest, when suddenly, her eyes flash open.
Art, simply art, could and should be used in movies. I cannot express in words the calming sensation this song gives me, my best wishes for both you and your girlfriend.
