So, this is a song idea that my band is currently working on, under the working title of "Battle Song". This one, we're trying to instill a violent feeling, because while most of our songs are heavy, they fall dangerously close to doom metal territory, and we want something faster that people would mosh to.
As it stands, the song's just in the concept stages, as our bassist is still writing his bass lines to the song, and we're trying to come up with a concept for lyrics. Anyway, enjoy, and if you have any comments or suggestions, we'd like to hear them. :)

The Beginning, and I mean THE VERY BEGINNING, like the first like maybe 20 or 30 seconds was a little too... muddied up and seems a little too unorganized if that makes sense. BUT, once we get past the initial first part of the song, it kicks into overdrive and grabs you by the balls (or labia if you're a chick :3). Considering it's a concept I really do like it. I'd like to hear the finalized version when it comes out. Keep on rockin' brotha!

P.S. The main thing I would comment on is the overall mixing. The levels are a little too high, thus creating a lot of clipping. Also, you might want to think of a slightly better beginning, something to better match the end so it loops seamlessly. Other than that, you've got a pretty gnarly piece there.

Yeah, My mixing skills are pretty bad. It frustrates me, because I want to create songs where everything is loud and yet crystal-clear at the same time, but I know nothing about working with EQs and stuff like that. All I know is the volume sliders. XD (I use FL Studio 7 and n-Track Studio 5)
Thank god when my band records the final version of this song, we'll be going to a professional studio to do it, lol.
The intro? Yeah, kind of a hit-and-miss idea there. :P I'll be sure to re-write it before we go into the studio.
