"Pathernal" is a song I wrote before "Sandstorm" in about 2-3 days with fewer and simpler tracks, although most people I know seem to consider it a better composition. The name is just something I pulled outta my ass when I wanted something to refer to it by, instead of "(2008-10-05)" or "Untitled", when I was bored and messing around with Frets on Fire. The majority of the song is the standard 4/4 timing although it swaps to 3/4 for the chorus.
Edit, 2009-03-21: Uploaded a new mix of the song with most tracks rerecorded and the others reworked and remixed. The Basic structure and sound is still pretty much the same but it sound better.

Guilty as charged, I wrote it before I learned how to use Guitar Pro properly, it was like the first song I finished, so it could've sounded better even with just Guitar Pro. Thanks for the compliments. I do intend to record it properly at some point (and my mates band also intends to) but that will likely be a while off.
