i really enjoyed it. it sounded pretty evil XD
keep up the good work!
Good, drum driven and upbeat, but needed a bit more melody to make it legondary.
I think I am going to work on that, legendary sounds like a good description to pursue, plus your not the first person to suggest widening the range of frequencies used.
Thanks for the review man!
This song has a strangely evil sound to it!
:P like... "I will now unveil my criminally evil master plan! Mwahahah"
Anyways you wanted me to review your new song, so here i go!
1.A nice vibe to it, as i mentioned, sounds evil :D
2. I think the percussion works... Im not sure, i like thee difference to normal percussion, but maybe some variation in the loop or something... :S It sounds industrial :D
Welll.... If this were me, and i know what im on about here, i used to make stuff like this, evil dark sounding AGES ago, but heres what needs adjusting/changing:
Basically, youve set the scene with that sound you keep gating like crazyz, but you need more. The song does'nt carry on that sound alone. Or that lead you made. It needs more development to the song. Add some varying percussion fills, some FX's, and definately something in the higher freq range, there is basically low sounds, needs higher. Also more sounds altogether.
One major reccomendation is that the Dark evil sound gets a bit tedious after a while, you should have a key change, and then have a good build up, and you have a dark to begin with song then builds to some epic dance tune!
But yeah, thats what i would do to this song!
3/5 7/10 so far mate! Keep submitting, and keep up the work!
pretty easy to listen to as is. if you do improve/tweak i'll be eagerly awaiting future submissions. keep submitting:)
I like it
Thats a pretty good one, I like it
so right to the how to improve it!
A few things.
1. I think the biggest thing that would improve the mix would be a little more variation in the frequencies, Most of the song stays in the low and low middle freq's, and I think it would sound more professional with some more stuff in the the high end (maybe some bendy electro synths)
2. While I always say your songs could have more noises and FX, I think this one could specifically benefit from some effects on the transitions, You use automations nicely, but I think a reverse cymbal or some wierd noise would add to the complexity and make it cooler.
3. Lastly, gosh man, stop resorting to plopping a wierd gating pattern on the last third of the song for some variation. I don't like it, its way too noticable/presetty/doesn't sound good. I know you can find another way to make the end interesting.
Still, a good song.
as always I am grateful for your advice, this will help a lot!!
