this song has potential, it has a bit too much going on in the same frequency spectrum, just need a little spacing out i think.
overall a solid foundation for a good track.
As you guys might have seen, this isn't a finished music of mine. I'm using this space to get some opinions on the song itself, as well as production opinions and some tips, if people can spare. =]
FD - Jeitinho (Unfinished Mix)
This is a trance track, using self created patterns of samba, forró and pagode samples, brazilian instruments used in various styles in Brazil, being a little mixture between Tech trance and Uplifting trance. The track isn't finished, but I'm looking for some opinions (being good or bad) on the track so I can refine it the best my abilities allow.
Opinions are appreciated. Thank you...

alright chappy,
not my bag, a little too 4 to the floor for my pallette. production sounds well crisp to my ears. interesting and effective use of rhythm, a lot more going on in that department than a lot of trance on newgrounds. don't know much about this style so i have no tips in that respect and my production level is kinda shit so no tips there. good show.

just read the review below, the percussion at the beginning worked fine, some peoples ears just aren't used to stuff that doesn't hit crack on the beat...
Thanks mate =D
Not bad.
The percussion in the beginning was rather difficult to follow (the tom or whatever) and you should have gotten rid of it. But other than that I really like the percussion. It reminds me of these old Trance tracks I used to listen to back in '04. I'd also call this more Dance or Techno rather than Trance.
Overall, I think this song has some potential if you take out the toms in the beginning and in the entire song, and replace it with something else, OR make the beat with the toms more organized in the beginning, but then get rid of them after the kick and the bass comes in.

Its a kick drum we call bumbo over here, which follows the 8/8 sequence, but in a broken way (You'll notice that once the kick on the song starts, every uneven sequence count has a bumbo hit) making beatmatching easier to follow. You'll get used to it, if you try to mix it, hit the cue button prior the first bumbo hit on the song, and u'll see how smooth it goes...
And the reverbed sound that follows it add some needed groove to the initial part of the song...
Nice Work
I really enjoyed the way the music progresses, how it builds up the beat. Gave it an 8 cause it's not my kind of song, but I really enjoyed this one.
I appreciate it =]
I though too that THIS time, the song build up was correct =]
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
