The name, of course, refers to the demented scientist from the story "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" by Robert Louis Stevenson.
It's a spooky-sounding piece, and it's quite long compared to most of my stuff (a little over four minutes). It makes me think of bizarre, eerie laboratories, which is why I gave it its name.
