this is a sci-fi song from a concept album i never finished. classic boy meets girl, loses girl thing, except the girl is an alien. i like to think that the recording of this is like a voice calling up into space and not sure if anyones listening. the second verse is the girl(alien) responding. i had to lower the audio quality a real lot to get it into the portal, so i hope that doesn't affect your judgment. i record everything on my crappy pc with cool edit pro. all instruments/singing by me.

You are trying to reveal your talent.. but you just composed this terribly dude. The vocals sounded awful and some of the guitar playing was off tune.

i don't hear the out of tune guitar, maybe a flubbed note somewhere, but i tend to stay in tune when i record.
Promising start...
but after that it just wents down. The guitar work is fine and with a couple of more additions it would be perfectly fine but to be all honest with this. The mod delay fx on the vocals are terrible! Just annoying to listen to. Now I see where you wanted to go with this but as for the listeners...I think it's just doesn't work.
I heard the whole song but I wanted to stop directly after the vocals came in cause...it just didn't fit.
Ok contest entry but I don't think it'll get somewhere. None the less, good luck! 3/5!
