Summer Rains

This song was written to the words of the poem of the same name by Elise Heglar. Let me reiterate that: I DIDN'T WRITE THE WORDS, just the music. Haha.

Here's the poem:

rain streams from my windowpane
I can sense your breathing
the clouds have already rolled in, and the sun has long since evaporated
if I shut my eyes, maybe I can freeze this moment
lock myself with this perfection in time

the bliss of inexplicable emotion captures me
there is rapture here [repeated in the song]
as I drink in my surroundings, my senses tingle
the rain is steady, much like my heart
though I doubt the cause is similar

you sleep on, dreaming innocently
and I lie here awake, staring at all of the dreams I could ever have, in one moment
a beautiful moment
endless summer rains and careless starry eyed nights entrust my hopes
there is truth here
there is happiness here;
can you feel it? [repeated in the song]

Hope you enjoy what you hear. My mic sucks, so... Yeah, my mic sucks. Sorry.

-Rocky

EDIT: This new mic I used doesn't suck. I rerecorded the vocals, and I also played the piano part this time :D

Again, enjoy.

Great :)

As said you maybe need a better mic, very moving and you need more strength in your singing to bring forth emotions to this song. Keep it up.

Kind regards -

MusicalRocky responds:

Yeah.
Again, that's partially my mic; I had to restrain my voice a bit to keep the recording quality okay.

Thanks for the review :]
