The stuff that makes up a star does not vanish when it dies. In that same manner, the memories, love, and sentiment is not simply eradicated when someone takes their own life. They live on in the lives that they've touched, because the cosmic dust finds new homes, taking up new lives of their own. The universe doesn't forget. I hope Simon found his peace.

Inspiration was found in the midst of tragedy.
A friend of mine took his life, leaving me sad, regretful and angry.
Wish I had insisted on meeting up some more, wish I had included you more in my life.
But amongst the many closer friends you had, you still made your choice, so all I can do now is dedicate this track to you, Simon, you'll be missed :(
And to my audience, if you feel a certain way about life, please reach out, the hole you feel in your life is smaller than the hole you will leave behind. I can guaran-fucking-tee you that. Please take care of yourselves and don't think for a second that the solution is inexistence.

Nice song. Though, indeed, suicide is never the answer. The few reasons that I know people do so are they think "life has no meaning," they lack a purpose, and "it's the only way out of their misery." That's one of the many reasons why Jesus is the life.
So sorry for the loss of your treasured friend. unfortunately, not everyone can hang on and move on if something terrible happens. unfortunately, sometimes some people choose such a stupid but very powerful act. not everyone is capable of ending their life.
but what about the song, it's very beautiful, in fact i really love Synthwave and it's a damn masterpiece, i'm so glad it made it to the main page of Newgrounds because you deserve it!
