Hot damn. Somebody else remembers Highway 35 and Acceleracers and the good music (at least composition wise) it had it in it. Also nice to finally hear the Drone theme be given some of the heaviness it really deserved, even if the guitars aren't real.

There was a TV show based on Hot Wheels toys called Acceleracers, and it premiered in 2005. Only four episodes (or movies) were made before the show was shut down. I had the fortune of watching all episodes on video when I was a kid, and instantly fell in love with the series. I'd say it's what made me into a "car guy" in the first place.
The Acceleracers fan community inspired me to cover the show's theme, especially with its 20th anniversary coming very fast.
