I love how the song becomes more beautiful as it progresses, very good track :3
A tune for those wounded hearts who seek to return to those purer ages from whence they draw their essence.
This song is a (belated) birthday gift for a certain special someone. You deserve this and so much more.

Thank you very much for saying so.
I notice a majority of your songs seem louder in the second half, which is immediately visible from their waveform, and even without looking at that, it makes music by the The-Cupbearer predictable. I expect more layers of sound to gradually appear, and they appear.
This is a personal preference, but a repetitive pattern that's in the foreground and easily discernible doesn't sit right with me. In this case, the strings. I like "Surrendering to the Embrace of the Living Stone" much better because it lacks proper instrumentation.
I see your opinion, and it is a valid one to have.
I am curious to know though if you have listened to a goodly portion of my works, as your review implies. It is true that a lot of my tracks "seem louder in the second half", but that is a natural consequence of a more traditional song progression. However, there are a good number of exceptions to that rule in my discography, such as "Approaching Silence" and "Mechanical Memories Cast into the Boötes".
If you liked "Surrendering to the Embrace of the Living Stone", then you will be pleased to know that an album featuring songs in that vein will be releasing soon. I hope you will stick around for it.
Thank you for your honest thoughts.
