ADDITION!: new guitar (the old one was outta tune), new drums (the old snare sounded like a "cowbell" as one review said. muahaha not any more ;)), piano placed in the peril theme (listen and tell me what you think of it... good or bad?), added themes towards the end of the demo, and overall re-mastering of most of the instruments.

once again, i submitted this so that other artists on the NG audio portal can assist me in the creation of the ultimate halo remix.

i like what you did with this one thanks for letting me know about it

Very good idea.

I like how you took bits and pieces from different halo music and put it all together into a really good song. Nicely done.

smooth . . .

thanks for the PM, r0tten, you have my support anytime.

i loved this song, especially the echoed piano at the beginning. It drew me into the song and made me feel like i was being drawn into some sort of epic battle. The guitar was amazing; you give Tommy Tallarico a run for his money.

there are only a couple things wrong with this song:

1. the sound for the piano and guitar is . . . "salty". i understand that uploading songs degrades the quality, but you might want to work on that some. maybe turning down the vloume one or two notches may help.

2. the transition at 1:55 was too sudden, and the decrescendo was barely noticeable. it has structure, what it lacks is depth. you could try and pick off instruments one at a time; it would be a long transition, but he exposition would be much more climactic.

Great song! as a Halo 1,2, and 3 veteran, this song spoke out to me. please keep making more of the same stuff.

p.s. love the violin/guitar duet at 5:27, was a great calm touch to the organized chaos of the whole peice.

Thanks for the review!

the guitar distortion is due to some tensions between the orchestra and the guitar conflicting, we're pretty sure, and thanks a billion for mentioning the transition! i would never have noticed that it was too shallow!

You might just hear a result of this review in the final product ;)

Great Build up.

The song sounds great, an even better version than the original. Was it mixed a little too loud though? My speakers seem to be clipping and buzzing.

Great work on the song.
