A post-In the Gaze track made during the peak of the hidden Project Nest era of music - kind of the predecessor to Polygonal Retribution. I made a boss concept on the diep.io wiki called the Prism - which had some of the weirdest ideas to come from me. What is with this “Second Generation” business? Why are there three small primary-colored triangles? Why is it also used as my banner symbol for my artist brand Zander GComet? What’s so important about Prism!? What the HECK is it?!

Questions y’all can answer HAH-

The reason why it’s significant to me is because it has a unique and cool design that I feel it isn’t worth abandoning. Also because I had no other abstract psychedelic weird polygon to use to emblemize PR and to an extension - ME. Zander!

Anyway this song.

It took some inspiration from a track by Scott Lloyd Shelly in this game called Terraria for the Empress of Light. It’s almost like one of those quick songs you’ll hear in an advanced level of Stepmania or another rhythm game. It’s more experimental in nature - a perfect imagining of a shimmering… shape surrounded by things you haven’t seen anywhere else in the world. It has this high energy background vibe to it all. I made adjustments to it from the version that started in 2020, adding more depth and a better way of it looping. I enjoy listening to this one on occasion. Yet with all of these elements it still uses the foundational sound that I established for PR - old beepbox wave table synths.
