At the time it was posted it caught my attention (as per usual for any fandom-wiki related sharing) and I contacted Fristo to check out the beepbox link of the song.

I wanted to expand on it and found its placement for a set of polygon characters/bosses called the Disciples. Odd title for pretty much the lords of a regular polygon type (from triangles to decagons!). These characters were sort of first additions to Zathsu’s Tale of Diep project solely from myself. Their full character history would be best talked about elsewhere from this song but they went through a lot. In PR, they’ve adapted designs and filled in a bigger role before that was cut to be more open to audience interpretation. I recommend seeing the art for them here.

As for the song, it received a revision later the same year it was created using modded beepbox (modbox). It changed some of the goofy composition for more cinematic/suspenseful parts. Some felt it lost some of that initial “charm” upon its replacement on soundcloud. For the while afterward it pretty much was left underneath every other song project after my falling out of the diep.io wiki. It would later become of interest again in small bursts for side projects until PR’s development began. I revisited this song and felt it was best to combine the two previous versions into a single more complete version that takes the best elements. The result is the version here on the album - a prime version that even has improved instrumentation while maintaining its definite old mixing as usual for this album. I even pulled off a sneaky reference to Discordant Cheer here.
