This song samples the Urbandawn Duality Drum and Bass pack from Loopmasters. All non-sampled material is my own.
I wanted to try a change of pace and style, so I created this song. I also got the idea to try messing around with different pitches. The idea wasn't new to me, but after being recommmended some compositions created with alternative pitches, I decided to try it for myself. After trial, and error, I settled on 452Hz as a reference pitch. This is the only song on the EP in a drop tuning, being played in drop C. The others are all D standard.
The atmosphere of this song is one that reminds me of a hobby I briefly engaged in: going on walks around my neighbourhood in the early hours. It was tranquil, and I could do practically anything. I could sit anywhere without being in somebody's way, observe passing aircraft, do virtually anything. Streetlights often set the mood visually, so that's how the name came to be.
