Super happy to partake in my first Pixel Day!
This song was made in about a day and was my first real foray into making chiptune (fakebit, of course). The song is heavily inspired by that of Jake Kaufman, creator of the Shovel Knight soundtrack, and Rainbowdragoneyes, creator of the Messenger soundtrack. Because of this, it sounds a lot like a level theme rather than anything standalone—which I find neat. The artwork was also made by me and can be found here! It doesn't really have anything to do with the song, besides maybe the nighttime setting. Hope you enjoy!

I did turn on the option, but unfortunately it's not that simple. Thankfully, I seem to meet all the criteria for having a song be available in GD, so it may become usable in the future. The whole process is super confusing to me. ðŸ˜
