This song has gone through many revisions over the years. Technically speaking, this song has existed since 2020, known back then merely as "Prelude". This isn't even the latest version, but it was the first iteration that I was proud to let the world see. Because of how early this song originated from, I actually created this with a sub-optimal setup. I recorded all my parts on a 40W amplifier being captured by a headset microphone, did the programming on my phone with FL Mobile, and put everything together on a low spec laptop running Audacity. I made at least five projects like this one, but in the time between now and making them, I've only recovered one other. Hopefully, those "lost" projects can be found so you can see where I came from and how I got to where I am now.

A little aside, but this is one of the few songs I've recorded in C# standard. I like the tuning, but after this and two more songs, I experienced a creative block and eventually moved away from it. Maybe it'll see a comeback soon.

I named this song after the FPS gamemode. What can I say? I was a bored teen with a guitar and internet access.
