These past couple of years have been quite the journey. A few short months ago, I actually found myself in a fistfight, the first one I had ever been in since before the whole thing with the misdemeanor battery charge. It's not something I was looking for, and it's certainly not something I care to ever repeat. That being said, I can at least say that my life since Lunar Venture hasn't been all doom and gloom.

Yep, I went back to school.

I'm not currently taking classes, and I don't currently have any plans to take further classes, but at the very least, the ones I did take furthered my personal goals. The first of two semesters, I took a singing class; turns out I have a high voice that's perfect for belting out any given DragonForce song.

Somewhere in the middle of all that, I believe after I finished Lunar Venture, I started this song. Then in September of this year, the project file got corrupted. Probably the hardest part of reconstructing this song was finding out how I did the bell, and which plugin I used to do it. The rest of it was more or less just going back to basics, listening to every note and every hit of every instrument and putting it in exactly as it sounded in the last render I had. From there, I had to master the project to sound as close as possible to that render. It's still a little bit off, and I have no doubt I'll be futzing around with it for a while, but at the very least, it doesn't kill my ears to try and listen to it.

Here's hoping those of you that found yourself here are able to enjoy listening to my attempt at a Touhou cover.
