So I was asked to make a cover of You Want Gnomes from Everhood.

Initially I had no idea how to proceed. The original song has almost no melodies, it's mostly bonkers drums and crazy electronic samples. Very unlike my own typical songwriting, which are much more reliant on melodies.

So tackling a difficult challenge, I figured I'd play into my strengths, which are hand played instruments.

And when I started imagening how I would re-create the song with metal guitars and metal drums, everything fell into place :P
