I realised I haven't made a proper New Years Party song as I used to do most years.
Traditionally, the New Year songs were me experimenting with new ideas or styles going into the next year, as well as an encapsulation of everything I'd learned in that year. I decided to keep up that tradition and tried something totally new.
Went for that 70's, 80's, 90's disco-rap-funky vibe. I don't really know what's going on here, but I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it, and hopefully it goes down as a certified banger!!

It’s a mashup of Splice and Loopcloud samples mixed with my own melodies and bassline to help tie them together. There’s a lot going on in the background. It was originally just meant to be instrumental until I came across the cheesy rap and had a good giggle before realising it fit too perfectly to ignore. So, the vocals were the last thing I added.
