Very pleasantly surprised to see anything related to Super Cat Tales here, I used to love the game so much π
This is awesome, replicates the style of the official games soundtrack very well with the chosen soundfonts :D
"Tectonic Trigger" (Volcano Theme)
Original chiptune track for Super Cat Wars, using the Earthbound soundfont among others.Β This isn't accurate to any hardware limitations and is not meant to be, I just wanted to make an original song using SNES instruments with the liberty to use reverb and delay sound effects.

And I'm back once again with more of these! This is not for Story Mode, it's the second track in the OST Extras. My goal with these OST Extras is to compose music for more niche level themes or just level themes I feel like doing anyway. We'll see.
I'm taking more creative liberties with these too, since it's kind of my own thing for the game. I used quite a few elements outside of the SNES soundfont limitation.

I'm really happy with how this one turned out, I've had it laying around just like the hundreds of WIPs that I never finish lol... I got an idea from my Beach Theme remix. It was a minor key change and I was like "Hell nah this doesn't fit the Beach Theme at all, but I'll save it for later 'cause it sounds kinda fire". And so I did. It's the section that starts at 0:45, I built the whole song around that - and honestly, as always, that makes me feel weird about the structure overall, but I'm also the one who's been listening to this over and over so I'll let you guys comment on that.
At last, completely unrelated, but I've got to do a Sega Genesis Style FM remix of this one, I think that would be perfect with the vibe... but I never make promises
