Hey guys!
I’m back with this nice little triplet beat with some clean pads and bass. Don’t really have much to say about it. I think I’m kind of starting to lean back towards trance stuff again, who knows.
I’m super excited for this December! Can’t wait for the Christmas music and trees (and presents) that come with it. Also because that’s when the next Splatoon season begins, and they gave one of my main weapons, the S-Blast, a new kit and it is SO PERFECT and I NEED TO TRY IT! But none of y’all probably care too much about that game so just listen to the song and pretend I didn’t write that.

So, I was looking for a track for GD, and this one just seems perfect! I love the speed and intensity of the whole thing. I would totally use this but I don't have the patience to make a four minute level, along with the fact that two people have already chosen this song. But if I ever made a song, I'd want it to sound something like this.
As for the new Splatoon season, I'm terrible at S-Blast and always have been but all the new stuff and the Big Run is so fun! I just need Side Order to come out soon.
Anyway great work on your song, it amazes me that people can make this kind of thing. Keep it up, and I look forward to listening to more of your songs!

As for the song, you don’t have to use the full song for your level, you can just use your favorite section! I wouldn’t want to make a 4-minute level either :/ I’ll see those levels once GD can run on iOS 17.
For your Splatoon talk, I’ve mained S-Blast and Dapples Nouveau for a while, so the new S-Burst and the CRAZY new Enperry dualies are super exciting! Plus I also main the Range Blaster, so the buff is exciting as well. Overall this is the most excited I’ve ever been for Splatoon!
The instrumental is so unique, this is so good, I'm gonna use this for a GD level

Jesus, this track is actually so good!
The triplets are just so satisfying to hear throughout, and the whole beat and pace of the track is just such ear candy for me. Not to mention you've used one of my favourite minor keys ever and made such an interesting progression with it.
By this point, I think it goes without saying that you are an absolute master of composition; you will just take any scale and figure out how it is meant to feel. I have to give you my deepest kudos on that. I can only wish to possess such talent and prowess in this regard. Keep it up!
Your mixing has improved soooo much in the last year alone! Even though I'm semi-confident that this isn't your best mix I have heard from you, it's definitely up there. You have definitely put a lot of care into figuring out how this convoluted mess of EQs and filters we call the mixing world.
The structure of the song itself is as expected; some verses, a few drops here in there with all that energy pumping out and a few bridges to transition from one part to the other. It's a simple formula, but it definitely works, so if it ain't broke, don't fix it haha.
Keep this improvement up man! This is what I love to see!

Yeah, I really wanted to try something I haven’t in a while with the triplets, and A minor is such an emotional key that it just seemed to work for me.
As for the scale, yeah scales are all pretty different and seem to have different feels. Some are emotional, others are angry, mysterious, euphoric, hopeful, you name it! No one will ever quite master the art of picking the right key for the feeling you want a song to have, but we might as well try, because the scale of a song can really affect the overall mood!
This mix definitely isn’t my best, I agree. Not my worst though. That was one of the reasons I almost didn’t release it, actually— I wasn’t confident about the mix. But hey, a mix doesn’t have to be amazing for music to sound great!
True, the structuring wasn’t too creative, but good thing it works well enough for you to still enjoy this song!

I'm not sure what you mean by "dry" since I used a lot of reverb to make it sound as atmospheric as possible, but I'm still thankful for the feedback!
