[cdc257] "Noodle" by Weasel-MX

This one is a minimal electro-funk number, dating back to 1997 or so. DJ Kasee "sung" a couple of the vocal lines, G. Ratte' the others, and he and xxxclusive did everything else. I can't remember the girl's name who said the intro line, but thanks anyways. That was cool.

Recorded at the Audio Sweat Shop in Lubbock, TX for Jinks Unit. All original, no samples.

The lyrics are inspired by the movie, Smokey and the Bandit. The narrator of the song is known as "Noodle," in the role of Burt Reynolds, talking to the female lead. He has been running a truckload of stolen pasta over state lines. Concerned that the woman under his care is in emotional distress, he offers her some noodles.

Lyrical splendor:

"Your ass is grass, Noodle!"

Hey little girl, why you look so sad?
Maybe some noodles would cheer you up?

Noodle... in your bowl.

You never chop... noodle hop!

Noodle... I'm your noodle... yes I am.

All the way from New York and down to Texarkana
Stolen noodles getting hotter, I'm the Chief Noodle Jammer
Double nickles denied all down the interstate
So many smokies on my tail, I cannot concentrate

I'm just like Burt Reynolds, and you're Sally Fields
But when I'm closing my eyes, I pretend you're Brooke Shields
I know the deal, you'se a noodle fiend
In the back of my Trans-Am, it's so obscene
