It's a pretty good replica, it's one of my favorites from MegaMan X too. :P
The only thing I completely do not like is the string-like synth you have going. It has too much attack and release, and it's too much in the low-pass range (and I'm also pretty sure is the default preset you get when you open up Sytrus). I'd say boost it up a couple hertz, and possibly adjust it so it's not so preset-like.

Close but no cigar, I purposedly removed attack so it is played right away instead of after some time (as the default preset). As of the release, I haven't fiddled with it, but I know you are right about that part. I decided to choose the strings instead of some other synths because I liked the epic feel it gave to the song. Thanks for your review, and I hope you like my next submission better!!
