This was the tune that prompted my last journal. I usually don't use melody type loops but I found a nice arp and decided to give it a try. Got this mostly done when I realized a bunch of the loops I used form my licensed library were common enough that I heard it on another project. So I stripped out the offending loops and replaced them with original content made from scratch. I am still stuck with the primary melody of the original loop though, because the melodic structure of the entire tune was based around it. I think unless someone commissions me for some quick cheap music, I'm not using melody type loops again. It just makes me feel like I'm copying other people's stuff without even knowing it. I am curious if the original loop was cross platform or not, because Logic, being an apple product, wasn't too helpful in identifying the origins of the loop. Anything 3rd party, no matter how legitimate, apple sometimes refuses to properly label in the loop library. Hell in the past sometimes all it took was moving my purchased licensed loops and it can't figure it out. :/
