Electron Transport Chain

Inspired by Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey with Neil DeGrasse Tyson. This is the first track on the "Artificial Photosynthesis" album, which brings together the beauty and serenity of nature with the focused intensity of scientific discovery. This track is filled to the brim with one-off robotic sound effects that are morphed into the shape of the music itself. I did this with the vision of a digitized version of the electron transport chain, in which tiny nano-bots work to complete the photosynthesis cycle rather than proteins.

dang, im studying for my bio exam and memorising the ETC is one of the toughest parts for me. This is really putting the image of electrons being passed through the electron carriers in photosystems 1 and 2 into my head.... awesome

Dutonic responds:

Hell yeah. Biology gang. Good luck on the exam!

god damn... the drum sound is sick

Amazing! This really reminds of when I used to watch episodes of Cosmos obsessively + some of the Apollo 13 soundtrack, especially the beginning of the song that plays during the end credits :)

love the synthetic idm-ish percussion, sounds great

Feels like a Detroit: Become Human investigation sequence. Nice work mane :>

Dutonic responds:

Yeah actually it totally does lol! Love that game
