I've had this made for a while, but I just never bothered to put it up until now, it's pretty much the same as the other one, just with louder drums...I am working on another song too, which I think is gonna sound very good once I get to spend more time on it and put it all together(and I'm not one to compliment my own songs very often lol) so I hope you guys enjoy the louder drums, and I hope you will check out my new song once I put up, even though I've been pretty inactive on here due to school, school band, and work and such, hopefully I'll become more active soon though, I think I've typed enough though, enjoy.

The king of long ass intro, build ups...haha.

Song was pretty awesome. Haven't seen you submit in a long time. Glad to see something by you.
You did have some clipping issues, but whoop de doo. I still fucking clip like shit anyways. haha.

I pretty much liked your tone from 1:50 on. This sounds like a pod xt? Anyways, pretty cool man. Hope to see some more from you soon!!

Yeah, it's definitely been a while, every time I come back here something has always changed with the website lol. Good guess, it's made by Line 6 too, but it's the same as always, the guitarport rifftracker thing. When I was looking for recording stuff to buy, I really wanted to buy the pod xt, but I couldn't afford that, so I got the Guitarport instead...but hopefully I'll get more active here again, if I can just finish this one song, I just have to finish up the piano/other instrumental stuff and the guitar(might be a while for the guitar since the computer I play guitar on is screwed up), then I'll submit that, I'll probably be on here more during the summer...great to hear(or I guess read) from you though man, I'll have to check out some of your new music, which I'm sure is awesome as always, thanks for the review man.

moves a little slowly...

Now - I will say that the recording itself is fine and very enjoyable. I suppose my issue here is that the piece takes so long to launch into a much more progressive and metal-ish portion.

Wow! i must say though - when that particular snare kicks in 1:45 - that sounds fantastic - the compression is bang on right there. I seem to be slowly getting the feeling though that those drums are played on an electric kit? V-drums?

The song is a good listen. The guitar part never seem to change from a dark tone and it doesn't seem to be double or quad tracked at any of the points which I think would assist this piece get a little bit more of an edge. Also just too dark in general. The playing makes up for this so an 8 sounds about right.

jdh504 responds:

Yeah, I can see your point there, it does take a good bit until it actually gets started, but that can probably be said for most of my songs lol.

Yeah, it's pre-recorded drums that came with my recording software(which is Line 6 Riffworks). I did really like the drums in this song in particular though.

Thanks for the review though, glad it was still enjoyable, thanks :D.
