I was inspired by this track during a trip to a mall. I went there to pass the time, because I was waiting for an interview I had with a nearby company, and I arrived too early. I ordered a shot of espresso from the Starbucks’ in the mall (never try it if you’re not used to caffeine! Bad mistake ^ ^;) to gain some energy for the interview because I was WRECKED after 2-3 hours of transit and I didn’t sleep well. The Starbucks’ was a little busy so I ordered my espresso and sat waiting for my turn. During that 5-10 minutes of waiting, my tiredness finally won and I dozed off. I had a very strange dream that almost felt like what someone would call “astral projection” or an “out-of-body experience”. I was flying around the mall and exploring it like a curious child, which I guess is accurate because this was the first time I ever visited it. I was bouncing between floors and isles like a ghost and going to shops I never went to. And the scary part about it is that those shops I went to during this trip turned out to be very identical to the ones that actually exist! Even their stock was the same! Again, I never went to these shops before that dream and only did so after I had my espresso just to feed my curiosity, which slowly turned into a slight sense of unease. I’m sure this phenomenon could be explained somehow, plus, a huge part of our brain is unexplained, but still, this shakes a man!

Anyways, what woke me up from that dream was the barista calling my name and ringing her cute little bell. As I was standing up and trying to compose myself, I realized how truly fast someone can sleep and have dreams, which kinda puts into perspective how cryogenic-freezing, hibernation, or comas work, but that’s beside the point XD.
