a cover of "chronologie, pt ii" by the great jean-michel jarre. i really like this song and wanted to give it some modern production touches

i originally made this sometime in april but refurbished it over the past few days. don't mind the genre tags, i don't know my four-to-the-floor genres that well

-information-

tempo: 162

scale: 12ed2 (b flat minor)

time signature: 4/4

created using: sunvox

dates created: 2023-04-??, 2023-07-23

along with being a cover, this song also samples:

- the clock sample prominently featured in "lullaby" by nightradio

- voice clips from solarlune's sample pack

- stephen hawking's 2004 ias inaugural lecture on the origin of the universe at hkust. i could have used an online tts program (i'm sure those with his voice exist), but i felt that would have been disrespectful to the man's memory

aside from these, all other sounds were made by me

Nice job! I'd love to hear a cover of the JMJ song in GTA4, Oxygene Part 4(?)

acheney responds:

perhaps! but maybe later, i want to make some original tunes first

That kick is huge! Really like this one, it feels really messy but it works well.

acheney responds:

thanks!
