FNF Custom Song: Heavenly Despot

EDIT: I tried to fix the mixing with a new version and it seems to have worked well!

Another custom song from me, this time made with LMMS as the DAW. As before, I would like to shout out the GameBanana user NyxTheShield for providing the Boyfriend soundfont, as well as the user ChillSpace for the Chromatic Generator tool, which helped me make a satisfactory chromatic for Boyfriend's opponent in this song. I would also like to shine a light on the DSK Overture and Ninjas2 plugins, the former of which provided the piano and violin, and the latter helped me make the chromatic. Finally, I used Audacity to create the vocals used in the chromatic, as well as the voice lines.

Note that this context I am going to give will get into some somewhat touchy territory in regards to philosophical concepts about the existence and character of the Abrahamic God, but I feel this necessary to give a clear picture of the opponent and how he came to be as a character. In the commentary for Dread Lord, I asked if people wanted context for the opponent. While I got no feedback asking for said context, I feel the need for this one to give it regardless, as it will hopefully make things make a little more sense. Note that these songs are some of the first pieces of material about these concepts and what I'm cooking up. I may be shooting myself in the foot by revealing this information, but I feel it necessary for context. So, a series I have in mind (I would write it but I am a very slow writer and am also preoccupied with many other things), there exists a world called Arpegea, a world for an RPG game. Now, more notes on Arpegea and its culture can be made another time, but you need to know to make this song make more sense is the opponent's identity. The opponent in question is Vydryss, a man-turned-god who created Arpegea. Now, some things about him that I deem important information to help you get to know him is that while he is God in the biblical sense, he isn't in the sense we typically view such an entity; namely, he lacks what we call the Divine Attributes, the main three being as follows: omniscience, omnipotence, and the most important one in his case, omnibenevolence. In particular, Vydryss is rather corrupt, and will turn a blind eye to most, if not all, atrocities in his name. Now, that isn't important information to the song, but rather for you to get to know Vydryss a little better, as this is the first piece of content I have ever made about him. At the risk of drawing comparisons to a certain edgy recolor of a familiar hedgehog, one can consider him somewhat similar to Kefka towards the end of Final Fantasy 6, a malevolent, cruel god who cares little for the suffering of the world around him. However, the main possible inspiration was a sort of reaction and spin on another philosophical concept relating to God, this one called the Problem of Evil. To summarize briefly, it is the concept that the existence of evil in the world runs counter to the idea of a god with the Divine Attributes, so either God does not exist, or he lacks one or more attributes. Without getting into my own beliefs on the existence of God, I feel this isn't the place for such discussion, I do not remember entirely, but theorize that Vydryss came about from wanting to create a God figure that lacked omnibenevolence. I will also admit that the concept of fighting a god has always been cool to me.

With the explanation of who Vydryss is out of the way, I'll get into some brief context for the song. Vydryss wishes to create a new Arpegea, for the other one has ceased to worship him (an alternate solution to the one he goes with for the series I have planned). For this project, he has set his sights on Boyfriend's realm to attempt turn into his new world, and, Boyfriend being Boyfriend, he aims to put a stop to Vydryss's scheme the only way he knows how.

Hopefully that was enough context to understand the song and the character better. I apologize for making this a wall of text, there was just a lot that I felt the need to explain. I hope you enjoy the song, as I feel it is better than Dread Lord, although that could just be the feeling of joy that comes with creating something new talking. I would also like some feedback on the mixing; I think it's fine, but I would like a second opinion on it.
