no seriously, where is the downbeat in this song? yep, thats the entire gimmick of this track!

this track alternates between two time signatures every bar; 29/12, and 28/12 (or 29/16 and 28/16 ig), but thats not the confusing part, which is surprising cuz those time signatures are already ridiculous; no, the confusing part is the fact that the kick never lands *directly* on the downbeat, its usually a bit late, everything else hits the downbeat... just not the drums.

if you focus on the rhythm, the downbeat follows the kick drum, unless it doesnt exist... but when you dont pay attention to it, the downbeat you're hearing is where it should be... atleast thats my experience, what about you? let me ask you the question; where is the downbeat?
