As an empath, it can be hard to find my own feelings amongst everyone else's. I wrote this after a long time of not being aware of my own emotions, back in March 2022. It still resonates with me today. There is a longing in this that has always been there in my emotional stream, ever present just beneath the bubbling surface of everyone else's emotions. It carries me forward unconsciously when I have no direction, reminds me of who I am.
