Through the spiraling night, I was beckoned, and through starlight beaconed. I traversed their union; it was as if the spinning black cradled the bare white, and the two things danced. Oh, they danced, a brilliant display shown as if the finest white silk wherein motion with the surface of featureless black water.

The only thing giving way to the shape of their union was the spiral, and it was I, as so broadly put, who was drawn into its cosmic epicenter. As I was pulled closer to its center, the dream became a waking one, and as I drifted further into the spiral, the deeper the dream became.

Soon enough, I was folded into the shape of the black spiral, my form sinking into the infinite depths of its starlit accents. Deeper into the dream, I went, falling into place as all things did and now do.

Through my descension, I departed from the sleeping dream into the waking one, falling into the  realm of things that exist. Things that are material and full of substance. It is a world foreign to my ethereal nature.

Nude, I stood. Upon the edge of oblivion, I bore witness to tragedy heralding a new age of creation. A cliffside would prove to be my theatrical seat as I spectated calamity creating.

Mountains flowed like water; they were not molten but utterly shapeless and clashed heartily with rigid oceans. My cliffside seat writhed in primal agony, its form giving way as the rest of my surrounding terrain did. I did not seek shelter, for there was none; from spectator to participant, I swam through my shapeless cliffside. I flowed with the cliffside’s fluid current, which had pulled me to its zenith, and it was at that moment I realized I was at the tip of a mountainous wave.

The fluid rock finally gave way, its upper half taking me with it. And as I began to fall, I soon remembered the rigid ocean, almost as quickly as my material form. A crippling impact occurred. My shell was mangled, and amidst the chaos, I could only make out the contorted nature of my materiality as I was folded into the moldless matter.

As the real world around me changed, so did I. For a moment, time ceased, and it was then that the form of all things was reimagined, and the nature of all things was re-established. And as the things of this new world were denoted, I too was redefined.

With my form repaired, I noticed the lands around me; they were ripe, rife, and ready to be rediscovered. I then stood with ease and stared into this new frontier. The sun was setting and from my vantage hung low enough to bathe me in its iridescent glow.

As the sunken sunlight hit me, its nature grew pale and was shown as starlight familiar. I watched longingly as my friend settled beneath the crest of the dale that stretched from me to it. The sky grew cold as the warm embrace of the sun was replaced with the cool kisses of this new world’s three moons. Each moon glowed differently, one a pale green, the other a dull orange, and one a pastel blue. The ground around me would catch this kaleidoscopic glow, and I would bask in its colors as I did and now do; again, I was a man of stained glass. And from a moment to thought, I thought: my journey begins now, and by starlight, I will be beaconed to my subsequent encounter!
