I've been listening to a shit ton of 90s house mixes lately and I wanted to throw in my own two cents >:)

I tried to make it as if it could shuffle in on one of the many mix tapes I've listened to! My dad was a house DJ back in the day and still DJs now and I made this song for him to put in one of his mixes! He's taking a course under the instruction of DJ Jazzy Jeff so I wanted to capture some cool vibes for them :-)

The challenging part of this was keeping it easily mixable and not adding a shit ton on and just letting the groove vibe out, but I tried varying things in slightly different ways and keeping the groove v dependable like they do in all the music I've been listening to. Fun stuff!
